YSK Green Daifuku Red Bean Mochi
A Japanese sweet treat. Each bite of this green daifuku red bean mochi dessert will leave you feeling like you are in the parks of Kyoto, watching the cherry blossom petals fall. The green colouring comes from the traditional herb called mugwort, the smell of which is said to ward off evil demons. As traditional as Japanese desserts come, this daifuku dessert consists of thick, chewy mochi rice cake filled with a sweet, slightly chunky azuki red bean paste.
