Grown at the Masuda-en Tea Farm, a Japanese Agriculture Ministry Award Winner, the land lies in the shadow of Mt. Fuji in Shizuoka. Genmai Cha is made from deeply steamed Sencha tea leaves from one of the premier tea making areas of Japan, with added Japanese brown rice and Matcha green tea powder. Together these flavours harmonise beautifully to create a delicious hot green tea with a hint of roasted rice. Like other teas it is rich in antioxidants called polyphenols.
