Sasaki Seicha Shincha First Flush Gyokuro Green Tea
Fine grade tea full of umami flavour. Considered to be one of the finest grades of tea, Gyokuro or \"jade cloud\" tea is sweet with a unique and slightly astringent aroma. The leaves are cultivated using the ooishita method, which involves shading the leaves from direct light for about 20 days after they first appear. This lowers the astringency of the team, and makes larges amounts of theanine, resulting in a rich umami flavour.
