Smoky plum wine aged with Kanemasu\'s original shochu.Mixing Niigata\'s rich ume plums with Kanemasu Shuzo\'s 100% rice-produced shochu, this regional plum wine provides an aromatically tangy and sweet evening refreshment. Benefiting from fully-ripened fruits and fresh Shibata River spring water, this plum wine\'s luscious palate is complemented by the silky mouthfeel of its pure shochu base, vacuum distilled to maximise its fragrance whilst removing any alcohol burn. Fruity with a warm, pleasant acidity, drawn out through oak-barrel aging, the rich flavour of this plum wine shares some refreshingly sweet similarities to Japanese whiskies, making it great chilled on the rocks or mixed with soda water.Alcohol: 15.0% ABV.
