Hobby - Artemia Brine Shrimp Eggs 20ml
Brine shrimp (artemia) is ideal feed for your young fish. No other feed is as rich in natural nutrients. Promotes the development of colouration and awakens the natural hunting instincts Instructions For the most convenient method of hatching artemia, all that is needed is a simple container. Fill this with 1 l of tap water and add 32 g of artemia salt (item no. 21600) and one knife tip of artemia brine shrimp eggs. At room temperature, the larvae hatch after 24 – 36 h. Good ventilation and lighting accelerate this process. Artemia hatching can be optimised with HOBBY breeding systems. Along with the incubator, the HOBBY Incubator Set (item no. 21900) also contains a basin (with an airlift tube) in which the hatched artemia can be further raised. The HOBBY artemia hatchery (item no. 21700) works without an air pump and is ideal when small amounts of larvae are occasionally to be used as direct feed. HOBBY Liquizell liquid starter feed (item no. 30900) and HOBBY Mikrozell (item no. 30310) feed powder enable artemia feeding that is tailored to suit the species. The HOBBY Artemia Sieve (item no. 21620) and the HOBBY Artemia Sieve Combination (item no. 21630), featuring mesh sizes of 180, 300, 560 and 900mμ, are indispensable aids for catching or rinsing the artemia.
