This is the market-leading Varilight LED and Halogen 2 gang 2-way dimming switch. Model number JSP252 features include being able to run up to and including 10 lamps from a single switch. When used with LED lamps, the minimum load is 10w and the maximum load is 120w. When used with halogen lamps the minimum load is 10w and the maximum load is 120w. The Varilight dimmer uses what\'s called a trailing edge dimmer (reverse phase) which is far more advanced than the old leading-edge dimmers (TRIAC). In basic terms trailing edge dimmers allow smoother and silent dimming. Buzzing is eliminated essentially, which can be an annoying feature on older trailing edge dimmer switches. The Varilight V-Pro comes with a 10-year warranty on components and faulty materials. This is subject to correct installation and related products.
