Taking inspiration from the swinging sixties and the elegant Italian fishing town of the same name, the men’s IWC watch is presented with a neatly sized 39mm stainless steel case with polished finishing, convex sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating and a timeless brown alligator leather strap handcrafted by Italian shoe manufacturer Santoni. For optimal comfort and elegance, the strap is completed by a stainless steel pin buckle stamped with the iconic IWC emblem. Housed within the IWC Portofino Chronograph 39 watch is the 79350 Calibre, an automatic winding movement which alongside its 44 hour power reserve, 25 jewels and frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour delivers remarkable chronograph complication on a smooth black sunray dial. Controlled by elegantly sporty push buttons on the right hand side of the case, the Swiss made movement provides central hands for hours, minutes and chronograph seconds, a small seconds dial at 6 o’clock and a chronograph counter for 30 minutes at 12 o’clock.
