It is equipped with a shade whose shape is reminiscent of a disc and is fitted with an LED panel. This can be conveniently switched on and off by turning the upper part of the stem and vary the brightness. Thus, the light can adapt perfectly to any mood or situation. The flat shade of the LED floor lamp Asteria allows the light to radiate upwards and downwards through satin diffusers, which makes the lamp a perfect additional lighting in living rooms, hotel rooms or even reception areas. The shade is firmly attached to a metal stem, which rests on a round base. This can be placed comfortably on the floor by means of small feet. Responsible for the design is the Danish designer and co-founder of the lamp manufacturer UMAGE, Søren Ravn Christensen.
