With plug and switch: Design wall lamp Type 80 by Anglepoise One of the latest creations of industrial designer Kenneth Grange is the Type 80 lamp series, which he designed in 2019 in his 90th year. Grange designed everyday objects of all kinds, from British Intercity trains and Royal Mail letterboxes to kitchen machines and photo cameras made by well-known manufacturers. Lamps are just one category. For Grange, however, this is also characterised by aesthetics and functionality. The joint of the Type 80 wall lamp allows the shade to be aligned. The special extra of this luminaire, which is otherwise designed for simplicity, is the all-round light outlet in the shade, which in addition to the directed lighting also creates soft ambient lighting and thus a cosy ambience. In addition, this version of the wall lamp is equipped with a supply line plus plug and intermediate cord switch. This allows especially the use as a reading lamp next to the bed or the armchair.
