This cozy country house is located in the village of Torrelles de Foix, in the valley of Foix, in Catalonia. The house was built in 1879 by the great-grandfather of Pere Tropes, who restored the house while preserving all of its original character. Torrelles de Foix is a village of 800 inhabitants situated on Pontons Creek and the Foix River, which provide water for the village. One could say that the people here live with their feet soaking. To prove it, you can just visit the old laundry and remains of an advanced irrigation system which was built during the Middle Ages and turned the town into one of the most important agricultural centers of the region. Guests can enjoy the swimming pool located in the countryside just 1 km from the house. The entrance for the clients of the house has a special price and is available during the months of July and August.
