In 1946 he founded The Architects Collaborative TAC and in a long association with Rosenthal went on to design the Rosenthal manufacturing plant in Selb, Germany. TAC is one of the patterns from his Bauhaus Design Studio and since 2002 has challenged the Suomi pattern as one of the best selling contemporary Rosenthal dinnerware ranges.
