Designed by Frank Thrower in 1971 Dartington Crystal Sharon Claret glasses are an iconic shaped glass that are as contemporary today as they were more than 40 years ago. The Sharon small wine goblet makes a good sized and is perfect for red wine glass. If you like a nice large slug of white or rose wine that would work too. These Sharon glasses are hand made in the Dartington Glass Factory in Torrington Devon. The 24% Lead Crystal gives the glass a beautiful clarity. Each Sharon glass has a mouth blown teardrop bubble at the top of the stem giving each wine glass individual character as there is always a slight variance in size and positioning of the bubble, this is not considered a fault but testimony of a hand made product. We will pair glasses to match as closely as possible.
