Running from the tip of the Deep V Tail, toed-in towards the nose, it made total sense to us that by aligning the PFS beams directly in-line with the hip, elbow and hand, it would allow for greater loading of the beams during turns and therefore more recoil/ projection when pressure is released. On the V2, the Divinycell PFS beams have been “toed-in” from tail tip to nose bulb. This effectively positions the beams in-line with the inside hip, elbow and hand for better dynamic loading i.e. when you pull up on the nose during a bottom turn you are directly flexing the PFS-T beam within the core. Once load pressure is released, beam and board instantly recoil back, projecting the rider out of the bottom turn or up and through the lip.
