The authors Sam Piyasena and Beverly Philp are established and highly successful illustrators. Sam got his first illustration published in the Sunday Times newspaper while still at school. He went on to study at the Chelsea School of Art, and then went on to Central St. Martins where he decided to specialise in illustration. After graduating he worked as an illustrator and photographer for various international clients including Nike, Universal Records, and the BBC. He has taught at various art colleges in the UK and conducted international art workshops for The British Council.
