This is an original Canon CLi-571 black ink cartridge. Original means this is a brand new cartridge made by Canon. Printing up to 376 pages of 10x15cm photo\'s makes this cartridge ideal for anyone who doesn\'t do a great deal of printing but does do the occasional photo. The cartridge is filled with Canon\'s Chroma Life100 ink which is specially designed to protect photo\'s from fading. The ink is a dye based ink which is best for photo\'s as it sinks into the page allowing the colours to merge and make more true to life prints. Replacing the empty cartridge is simple and won\'t take long at all. Open the cover of the printer and wait for the cartridges to stop still to begin. Squeezing the clip on the side of the cartridge will let you lift it out, the new one can then be sat in its place and then pushed down until it clicks into place. The cartridge is packaged in its own box so if you\'re not ready to open it straight away you can store it for up to six months without its quality or performance being affected.
