Originally hand-painted by Yoshizawa, a textile designer born in Tokyo/Japan and now based in Helsinki, Plato captures the drama of an artist at work. The fine detailing retains the confident movement of the brush and grain of the paint. The artist comments: My works are inspired by shapes, textures and colours I see in my Scandinavian surroundings.
