The smaller Pren Shadow 03 – perfect hung on its own or in a cluster, is one in a series of beautiful lights created by Welsh designer and maker Louise Tucker available at Curious Egg. Louise is inspired by the delicate relationship of light and shadow and by manipulating intricate forms in wood, she can create unique patterns using both. From a young age Louise was fascinated by cloud forms and shapes in the sky. It seems fitting that she now creates suspended organic forms that are both functional and sculptural artworks in themselves. Each light is carefully and meticulously created by Louise using sustainably sourced Maple wood which bends and flows into the most extraordinary forms. Each light is handmade to order and bespoke forms can be arranged on request.
