This Sibling Vases are an exquisite series of delicate, sculptural vases created by ceramicist Elle Maxwell. Carefully handmade from parian porcelain, a beautiful silky smooth clay that is high fired leaving it with a self glazed sheen. ‘Scallop 2’ is hand carved into a delicate scallop pattern over three quarters of its surface. It has been finished by hand, polishing the tactile surface until it’s soft and lovely to hold. We love the simple forms of these beautiful vases – the soft glow of the porcelain makes them statement pieces that will quietly command attention a room.
