The Designer Born in Paris in 1892 Louis Rousselet began his apprenticeship with M. Rousseau to master the technique of lamp-work beads. In the 1920’s he became famous for the manufacturing of glass and Galalith beads and supplied these handmade beads to the global market. His firm employed over 800 people during this time.
