Brightly coloured, eccentric hats made in northern Thailand using a huge amount of thin layered strips that have been carefully stitched together into this vibrant design. Complete with a semi pom-pom top and cords to secure the hat under the chin, all of the coloured strips vary so no two hats are quite the same. The hats are actually simplified, modern versions of Thai Lisu Hill Tribe hats which are renowned for this very dense style of colourful applique fabric.
