The brand is based on the desire to produce top quality spirits from fair traded organic ingredients. The FAIR range is a winning combination of fair trade ethics and quality, created by local people and inspired Frenchman Alexandre Koiransky. Made using the traditional fermentation and distillation process that has been used in the Caribbean for hundreds of years. The process starts with Fair Trade Certified sugar cane from Belize, the sugar cane is grown using organic and sustainable farming methods on small farm plots. Each cane is carefully hand harvested to maximize the yield and protect the land. Aged for 5 years in American oak barrels, Fair Rum reveals many aromatics and a deep character. A superb nose, many generous flavours, with woody, spicy and vanilla flavours and notes of cinnamon, cloves, chocolate and coffee. Long, intense on the palate, with good persistence all the way through to the finish.
