For such a powerful wine, Ottella\'s Ripa della Volta Amarone shows amazing poise and refinement. It has a beautifully integrated aroma of black cherry jam, delicate oak, chocolate and white pepper. While big and rich on the palate, it also shows fantastic balance and restraint. The sweetness of the fruit and rich honey and truffle flavours are offset by lipsmacking acidity and suave tannins.
