Zamioculcas zamiifolia or ZZ Plant originates from drought-prone areas and dry grasslands Eastern Africa. Green, beautiful and virtually indestructible: ZZ plant is first and foremost a fabulous work of nature. This green personality has sturdy, noticeably regular leathery leaves that grow on branches that look a bit like feathers. ZZ plant tolerates neglect, is drought tolerant, and accepts low-light conditions. Its waxy, smooth leaves reflect sunlight and brighten rooms. ZZ usually grows slowly to a height and width of two to three feet so it is not a plant monster that outgrows containers quickly. Light and Water Position in a warm, bright area in indirect light. You want to water it thoroughly, let all the water drain out & let it go dry before you water it again. Avoid over-watering. It stores a lot of water so can cope with missing waterings.
