The Held Hakuna II is Held\'s take on an adventure jacket, aimed at riders who like to take their bike on unpaved roads as well. The outer shell is constructed from 500D Cordura for optimal protection. The SAS-TEC shoulder and elbow protectors provide great impact protection and the Hakuna II is also prepared to be equipped with a back protector. Our favorite feature of the Hakuna II is the amount of ventilation this jacket provides. You will find very large air vent zippers on the front of the arms and an exhaust at the armpits. On the torso there are 4 large intakes and on the back 2 large exhausts. The panel covering the main zipper can be left open and snapped in place to basicallycreate another large ventilation intake. Functionality is key with the Hakuna II: what use is an adventure jacket if all it does is allow air to pass through? No worries, the Hakuna II also has a removable waterproof, windproof and breathable liner. Please note that there is no thermal liner so you will need to bring your own mid or base layer to make this jacket really comfortable on colder days as well. The Hakuna II is practical, too. You will find more than enough pockets to store your valuables: 2 large pockets on the front, 1 large utility pocket on the back, 3 inner pockets (1 waterproof phone pocket) and 2 of the ventilation zippers on the front also function as chest pockets if you want them to.
