The aim of Happy families is to collect as many families of 4 cards as possible. Deal the cards out so that all cards are in the game. When your turn comes, ask another player if he or she has a card that you need. If the other player has the card, he or she has to give it to you. You can continue to play until you make a mistake and the other player does not have the card. If the other player does not have the card you asked for, then your turn is over, and the player who you asked the wrong card from can take over. Of course, he or she can ask you for the cards back which you have already collected. You lay whole sets aside - these are yours to keep. If you have the most sets of 4 at the end of the game, then you win at Happy Families! Full game Instructions included.
