This pomade is ideal for use with fine to medium thick hair, and is perfect for messy wet looks! In 1999 Layrite’s founder, Donnie Hawley was passionate about perfecting his clients haircuts. However, the petroleum-based products used at the time was making his job more difficult as it would never rinse. Donnie, wanted to find a solution, resorting to producing his own water-soluble formula that would “Hold Like Wax and Wash out Like Gel”. After positive feedback from his customers, and one saying it made his hair “lay right”, the brand Layrite was born!
