Unlike most of those major brands KMC chains are a non-directional design meaning the links don\\\'t have to face a specific way, so you can fit the chain without having to look for tiny inscriptions or directional arrows. Re-usable KMC quick links make chain removal and fitting a much calmer affair with no need to break the chain with a tool just to take it off for thorough cleaning; however, master link remover/connector pliers are a worthwhile investment to make light work of this task.
