F&P Vitera - Redefining Comfort The Fisher & Paykel Vitera Full Face CPAP Mask is an evolution of their successful Simplus mask; taking the unique RollFit concept onto the next level. The Simplus\' RollFit seal made achieving a secure fit simple; the Vitera\'s RollFit XT seal is 93% bigger, giving it even greater adaptability. The RollFit XT is a rounded cushion, allowing the mask to move around on the face if and when required, for example when changing sleeping position. With a conventional seal, strapped rigidly in place, changing position can cause the mask to dig in or lose its seal. With the RollFit XT, the cushion can roll to a different position without causing discomfort or losing the seal. This is particularly apparent on the nasal bridge, where the risk of skin damage or soreness is highest. Here, the RollFit XT can roll back and forth as required, minimising pressure on this area of the face and reducing the risk of leakage into the eyes. In tests, 93% of patients found the Vitera to be as least as stable of their current mask, if not more so. 88% could sleep in their preferred sleeping position throughout the night, and 90% rated it equally or more comfortable than their usual CPAP mask.
