Webb C. Ball, founder of Ball watches, became renowned for outlining the standards of quality and accuracy in all watches used by the railroad, and it is these principles that Ball still lives by today.   The Ball Trainmaster Moon Phase watch boasts a finely chiselled 40mm stainless steel case which embraces the Swiss made automatic BALL RR1801 movement that can be watched hard at work through the open case back where the oscillating weight twirls with every movement of the wrist. Housed beneath the scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass is a striking blue moon phase dial set with 26 luminous micro gas tubes allowing optimal readability even in the dark, a feature that will glow for up to 25 years without requiring recharge. To fasten the timepiece to the wrist, a black crocodile leather strap and stainless steel buckle is added.
