Bremont Watch U-2 U-2/BL/R This striking Bremont U-2 watch comes after the success of the brand’s famous MB watch and its associations with the world’s largest ejection seat manufacturer, Martin Baker. The elite 9th Reconnaissance Wing at Beale wanted a high performing watch of a similar calibre but one that had been custom tested to their own requirements. This Bremont U-2 continues to showcase all the advanced elements of the classic MB model including the famous anti-shock rubberised movement mount alongside a whole new range of functionality. Sticking strongly with their aviation roots, this Bremont U-2 watch boasts a clear, legible dial for the use of quick readings in the cockpit. It is presented in a stunning blue colour and decorated with large Arabic numerals, Superluminova coated hands and indices and a large red arrow shaped seconds hand. Housed beneath the dial is the BE-36AE automatic movement, a chronometer certified calibre that has been awarded an incredible accuracy of -4 to +6 seconds a day. The movement also provides a healthy power reserve of 38 hours alongside classic hour, minute and second function and a day and date feature at 3 o clock. The dial of this Bremont U2 watch is protected by scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass with antireflective treatment and a 43mm stainless steel case constructed using the brand’s famous Trip Tick construction. It also comes complimented by a bi-directional rotating bezel with Roto-Click technology and an exhibition glass case back which shows off the high quality craftsmanship of the movement inside.
