Junghans Watch Meister Pilot. 027/3590.00.  In 1955, Junghans Watches were entrusted with producing a new service watch for pilots in the Bundeswher, also known as the armed forces of Germany. The brand went on to produce the legendary pilot chronograph which became a huge success within the military and to celebrate this, Junghans have now released this Junghans Meister Pilot watch, a reinvented version of the original.  The Junghans Meister Pilot boasts a perfectly sized 43.3mm stainless steel case set with a distinctive cog shaped bidirectional turning bezel and convex scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass treated with an antireflective coating. Beneath the glass, a striking matte black dial is decorated with appliques and hands painted with a luminous substance to ensure optimal readability even in the dark. To complete the look, the watch comes on a riveted black leather strap with beautifully contrasting white stitching and a stainless steel buckle.
