The first Bellytanker car was designed by Bill Burke who decided to build an ultra-fast automobile to compete on the salt flat races. As a veteran himself, he believed that the fighter plane drop tanks would make his speed machine exceptionally aerodynamic. Inspired by this fantastic story, Bell and Ross watches decided to create a Bellytanker of their own in the shape of the Bell and Ross BR V2-94 Bellytanker watch. It’s stunning 41mm bronze case is reminiscent of the copper finish on the race car rim’s while the black dial tributes the detailing on the car’s nose. This Bell and Ross Bronze watch is even more special when you understand the unique ability of the metal. When exposed to the pH levels in perspiration and moisture in the air, bronze develops a natural patina. This means there will be 999 limited edition pieces of this BR V2-94 Bellytanker watch bespoke to each wearer.
