Like so many of Montblanc’s watches, the series takes inspiration from the historical Minerva timepieces from the 1940s and 1950s bringing to life a retro personality through squared lugs, sharp hands and statement Arabic numerals. This Montblanc Heritage Automatic watch follows suit with a warm aesthetic fashioned from a sleek stainless steel case and a salmon pink dial complete with a grained outer ring and a smooth sunray centre. Its vintage temperament persists throughout the dial on the applied anthracite-coloured Arabic numerals, dots as indexes and sword-shaped hands that are enriched by a coating of glow in the dark Superluminova. Protecting the dial of the Montblanc Heritage Automatic watch is scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass treated with a layer of anti-reflective coating allowing for easy legibility of the hour, minutes and seconds hands. At 3 o’clock, a stainless steel crown detailed with a Montblanc emblem in relief helps assist in a 50 metres water resistance while the angled lugs and grey alligator leather strap let the luxury watch conform securely to the wrist. While the exterior of the Montblanc Heritage Automatic watch is very much dedicated to the past, the interior salutes the future with Montblanc’s MB 24.26 automatic movement housed within. With its flat hairspring and 26 jewels, the movement promises a frequency of 28,800vph and a healthy power reserve of 38 hours.
