At its centre, the Montblanc Star Legacy Automatic Date watch houses the Calibre MB 24.10 automatic winding movement which alongside its innovative flat hairspring provides 21 jewels and a power reserve of 42 hours. The central hands for hours, minutes and seconds and date aperture at 6 o’clock are beautifully presented on a refined silvery-white dial with the Montblanc exploding star guilloché pattern at its centre detailed with a black railroad minutes track, black Roman numerals and blue painted leaf-shaped hands. To protect the Swiss manufacture within and provide a water resistant rating of 30 metres, the 42mm stainless steel case is equipped with a non-screw crown decorated with the famous Montblanc star emblem, a polished fixed bezel and domed sapphire crystal glass, a material famed for its scratch resistance and anti-reflective coating.
