Airfix North American P-51D Mustang 1 72 Scale Plastic Model Kit - A01004
The North American Aviation P-51 Mustang is an American long-range, single-seat fighter and fighter-bomber used during World War II and the Korean War, among other conflicts. The P-51 Mustang was a solution to the need for an effective bomber escort. Designed to an RAF specification, the Mustang was transformed once the Rolls Royce Merlin engine was installed. It used a common, reliable engine and had internal space for a larger-than-average fuel load. With external fuel tanks, it could accompany the bombers from England to Germany and back. These Airfix model aircraft kits will require paints and glue to complete. Dimensions 12.5 x 3.1 x 23.4 Scale 1:72 Skill 1 Number of Parts 53 Deluxe Materials Plastic Magic Cement 40ml (AD83) Plastic Magic Cement is a thin, liquid plastic cement with a 10-15 sec adjustment time & non-clog action. It is non-toxic, non-flammable, has minimal odour and almost zero emissions when compared to competitors.
