Emhar Gokstad 9th Century Viking Ship 1:72 Scale This kit is a 1/72 scale model of the Gokstad Viking ship on display in the Viking ship museum in Oslo. Emhar based the model on scale drawings on sale at the Museum, and were indebted to Professor Emil Christensen and especially to Archaeologist Knut Paasche for friendly, expert and informative advice on the project. 1/72 scale model of mid 9th Century ocean going Viking sailing ship capable of raids on Britain and elsewhere. The decks in the kit can be removed to reveal an accurate representation of the structure of a Viking ship. Vallejo paints are supplied in plastic bottles of 17ml with an eyedropper device which keeps paint from drying and prevents spills. The model color range has been specifically developed for adherence on difficult surfaces such as metal and plastic, but the product is not toxic, not flammable, and does not give off noxious fumes.
