The slatted headboard design is a bit different to the classic shaker style, adding a touch of unique character while the low footboard helps make the room feel more spacious.   The Yoxall bed frame is made from rubberwood which sounds strange but it’s actually a really durable tropical hardwood which comes from trees in rubber plantations grown for their sap to make latex, making this wood more environmentally friendly as the trees have already served their intended purpose. Harvesting the wood from trees that would have otherwise been burned makes this bed a much more sustainable product Rubberwood naturally has a really lovely light golden to medium tan colour with wood grain texture detail making this bed visually beautiful and transports you to a warm cosy farmhouse.
