This tour offers a heady mixture of castles, monasteries, classical sites and historic UNESCO World Heritage towns, all set amidst spectacular scenery. Beginning in Tirana, we visit Kruja and Lezhe, which are associated with the great Albanian hero, Skanderbeg, and move gradually south, visiting Durres, the important ancient city of Dyrrachium, and the classical site of Apollonia.
