The LP18 rim is particularly light due to its 18mm profile. It has stainless-steel spokes, sealed bearing hubs and double aluminium walls. Although it doesn’t have a machined braking wall, brakes can be mounted without problems. It is a classical, elegant wheel that is good quality for money. And, although radial spoking is possible, we recommend cross spoking as it makes the wheel stronger. The size is 700c, meaning it is compatible with all road-bike tyres. You can mount 23, 25 or 28 tyres and will need a 30mm-valve inner tube. And it is crucial you mount a rim strip between the tyre and the inner tube to reduce or prevent punctures.
