The Domus Auto is suitable for those with a high to very high risk* of developing pressure ulcers. It combines automatic self-adjustment of cell pressure, Constant Low Pressure therapy, as well as many additional features including static mode, alternating mode, control panel lockouts, audible & visual low pressure alarms and CPR facility. In response to individual changes in position or body movement, the Auto Adjustment feature enables automatic pressure adjustment within the cells. This innovative product has a seat inflation mode to increase the pressure equally across the entire mattress, so that when sitting it provides optimum support to the sacrum area. It also has a max firm key to increase the mattress pressure to full capacity, creating a stable and firmer surface during repositioning, patient transfer or nursing procedures. This automatically reverts back to alternating mode after 20 minutes. The Domus Auto comes with a two-way stretch vapour permeable cover which reduces shear and friction, and provides an easy to clean waterproof layer of protection.
