Otherwise known as Carpet bugle this RHS AGM winner is vigorous and it's large, glossy purplish-bronze leaves that are 15cm long quickly form a dense mat of attractive rosettes. Stunning blue-violet flowers rise from these rosettes on tall erect spikes. This variety is a wonderful groundcover variety in a shaded area where others may have difficulty growing. Easy to look after and will stop any weeds coming through its dense blanket of foliage. Height: 50cm (20"). Spread up to 1m (39").
