Clematis ‘Aljonushka’ - Clematis plant This sem-herbacous Clematis is superb, it has stunning magenta pink bell-shaped flowers that are produced in abundance from early Summer to September. Old man’s beard is known for its deciduous climbing habits, however, this Clematis is a rather loose sprawling variety - perfect for growing over sunny low walls or cascading loosely over pretty banks. Clematis ‘Aljonushka’ grows to a height of 2m (6’) and spreads to around 1m (3’). It enjoys growing in a sunny position with semi-shade available and looks great twisting its bright green leaflets around a post or structure. Old man’s beard creates a lovely garden feature, especially when expanding through other mature shrubs and hedges for guidance. Flowers June-September. Height 150-200cm.
