Clematis ‘Josephine’ - Clematis plant  This Old man’s beard is an intriguing cultivar, spreading to around 120cm (48’) and developing to a height of 180cm (72’). Its flowers have incredible double fluffy pom-pom-like centres in a dusky pink, set atop pale pink outer petals, along with a bold magenta stripe. ‘Josephine’ is a deciduous climber with tidy trifoliate leaves in a deep glossy green. Clematis ‘Josephine’ likes full sun best but does benefit from some partial shade now and again.
