Also known as Swamp Milkweed, this hardy perennial makes an unusual addition to sunny borders, upright stems are covered in decorous foliage and topped with masses of pink flowers. Bees and butterflies love the profusion of nectar from the blooms making this a superb choice for a wildlife area. As the flowers fade, they are replaced by seedpods which split to show the seed, they can be used as fresh or dried cut flowers. Prefers, moist, fertile soil but tolerates dry conditions once established.   Height: 90cm Spread: 60cm
