Sea Holly makes a superb hardy perennial for hot, sunny borders. Thriving on gritty soils, it is tough, resilient and reliable. This variety boasts a compact habit, and attractive, sculpted foliage. The silvery stems are topped with domed flowers and surrounded by a delicate collar of soft green bracts. The small green globes mature through silvery-blue to a deep indigo colour as summer progresses. Eryngium \'Magical Blue Globe\' is perfect for bringing texture to the front of borders, especially in challenging coastal regions. It also makes a fine cut flower, either fresh or dried.
