Chamaerops Humilis An exotic focal point with evergreen leaves! Chamaerops humilis is the only palm native to Europe. It provides an exotic focal point in the garden with its evergreen fan-shaped leaves. It’s naturally slow growing and rarely exceeds head height. For best results grow Chamaerops humilis in moist but well-drained soil in a warm, sheltered position such as in a sunny border. In cooler regions, grow in large pots on the patio, which you can move indoors in autumn. The Royal Horticultural Society has given it its prestigious Award of Garden Merit.
