Delicious eaten  from the tree and are versatile in the kitchen, keeping their tart flavour and holding their shape when cooked. The pink flesh looks impressive in pies and crumbles producing pink juice when pressed. The tree has a delicate pink blossom in spring, followed by the red fruits in autumn.  Heavy crops and neat, compact habit as a semi-dwarf it reaches a mature height of up to 4m (13') This variety is not self-fertile so for heavier crops, grow with another variety or with one nearby to act as a pollinator.
