Isoplexis Plant - Bella  Be one of the first to grow this exotic Canary Island Foxglove. The Isoplexis have been getting a lot more coverage in recent years thanks to some new hybrids. However, brand new Isoplexis 'Bella' is pure Canary Island Foxglove through and through, and you'll be soon salivating over its tropical looks! After sowing out the first and second populations from the native species, plants with garden-worthy traits were selected. After a few years, 'Bella' was found; a handsome plant with a voluptuous sub-shrub shape, profuse flowering, bright colours and drought tolerance. In the wild this "psychedelic foxglove" favours the edge of the forest, so when planted into the garden they enjoy sun as well as shade. The three foot tall plants are shaped like a candelabra, with tremendous garden presence, even when not in flower. You'll be drooling at the sunset shades of the flowers, not to mention the ruby glow of the stems. A fine hardy border plant or a versatile patio shrub, the choice is yours! Flowers June-November.
