Aspera Macrophylla is a stunning Hydrangea, looking superb in any border or cottage garden. The large, deciduous shrubs have an open branching habit, with felted leaves and beautiful lacecap blooms all through the summer. The flower heads are delightful, with violet florets, surrounded by pale lilac bracts.  The Chinese Hydrangea is a vigorous, strong plant needing space to grow, it will quickly establish and is easy to maintain.
