Ajuga reptans \'Chocolate Chip\' is a low-growing evergreen perennial that makes superb ground cover, forming a carpet of chocolatey purple foliage above which short spikes of lilac-blue flowers rise in spring. Thriving in any position from full sun to full shade, this low-maintenance dwarf bugle grows where grass cannot, makes a very attractive weed suppressor and is loved by bees and butterflies.
